County Clerk & Recorder Deputy

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Greet and assist customers
  • Prepare receipts for customers and manage cash drawer
  • Answer and assist customers over the phone, transfer calls to other    departments as needed
  • Receive and respond to various forms of correspondence, create and prepare files and forms to properly do so
  • Proficiently execute typing, word processing, accounting and other computer related operations in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and QuickBooks
  • Understand the basics of all other Deputy Clerk & Recorder duties
  • Cross train with staff for more efficiency and understanding of office functions
  • Perform a variety of tasks with a high degree of detail and accuracy
  • Requires the ability to work outside of normal business hours during elections


Appointment and Supervision:

  • This position is employed by and works under the supervision of the County Clerk & Recorder
