Brown County Recorder Establishes Fraud Referral and Review Process in Compliance with SB 1523

Mt Sterling, Illinois — [OCTOBER 2025] — In accordance with Senate Bill 1523, Brown County Recorder Jenny Welty officially established a new Fraud Referral and Review Process aimed at enhancing the integrity and transparency of county recorder operations.
