Sheriff’s Report

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office reports the following activity:

TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS:

Unless stated, no injuries were reported and damage to the vehicle was over $1500.00.

 06/24/2024:
Jennifer Hendrix, Rushville was traveling eastbound on CR 395N NE @ CR 1715E St. and swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway. The vehicle then left the roadway, striking a tree and flipping onto its top.

Elizabeth Prieto, Beardstown was traveling westbound on US 24 @ CR35E left the roadway coming to rest on a culvert.
