Sheriff’s Report

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office reports the following activity:

TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS:

Unless stated, no injuries were reported and damage to the vehicle was over $1500.00.

07/30/2024:

Rohan Holtzhauzen, Mt. Sterling was operating a semi-truck on 300E Buckhorn Road when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned, damaging a power pole.

08/05/2024:

Gabrielle Littig, Camp Point: Was traveling on 750E, swerved to avoid a deer, left the roadway, drove through a beanfield and came to rest in a ditch.

08/02/2024:
Niki L. Doyle, Mt. Sterling: Operating a vehicle with expired registration.
