Sheriff’s Report

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office reports the following activity:

TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS:

Unless stated, no injuries were reported and damage to the vehicle was over $1500.00.

11/27/2023:
Jordon T. Whitford, Augusta: Was traveling on IL 99 @ 1125N and struck a deer.

11/28/2023:
Charles E. Shrader, Loraine was southbound on IL 99, left the roadway,
overcorrected and crossed into the northbound lane. He then left the roadway
striking an electric pole. Mr. Schader was transported by ambulance to Blessing
Hospital for treatment.

11/29/2023:
Steven R. Cooley, Versailles: Was traveling on 1075E @ Il 99N and struck a deer.
Paul H. Musik, Camp Point: Was traveling on US 24 @ 600E St. and struck a deer.
Rebecca J. Barlow, Clayton: Was traveling on US 24 @ 600E St. and struck a deer.

11/30/2023:
Nicole E. Jackson, Beardstown: Was traveling Eastbound on CH 6 @ 080E and
swerved to avoid a black truck in her lane, leaving the roadway and traveled 140
feet off the roadway. She and a juvenile passenger were transported by ambulance
to Blessing Hospital for treatment.

12/02/2023:
A juvenile from Augusta: Was traveling on US 24 @ 501E St. and struck a deer.

Izabella R. Miller, Golden: Speeding 79/55 MPH Zone.

12/01/2023:
Ernesto M. Santana, Pinecrest Fl: Speeding 73/55 MPH Zone.
Randy L. Vogel Sr., Pekin: Speeding 78/55 MPH Zone.

12/02/2023:
A juvenile from Mt. Sterling: Speeding 84/55 MPH Zone.
Alvarez D. Chavez , Beardstown: Speeding 90/55 MPH Zone.
Darien L. Burcham, Quincy: Speeding 74/55 MPH Zone.

12/03/2023:
Karen Velasquez Garcia, Beardstown: No Valid registration.
Henry M. Munta, Mt. Sterling: Operating Uninsured Vehicle, Suspended
Registration.

mittens, and hats for anyone in need. Sheriff Justin Oliver encourages you to stop
by the Courthouse during business hours, Monday thru Friday between 8:30 AM-
4:30 PM.
