The Brown County Sheriff’s Office reports the following activity:

TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS:

Unless stated, no injuries were reported and damage to the vehicle was over $1500.00.

12/04/2023:
Jessica K. Flynn, Mt. Sterling: Was traveling on 800N @ 210E and struck a deer.

12/06/2023:
Oliver B. Leleika, Jacksonville: Was traveling on IL 99 @ CR 1050E St. and struck
an unknown animal.

12/09/2023:
Ashley J. Kassing, Mt. Sterling: Was traveling on 550N, struck loose gravel and left
the roadway coming to rest in several trees.

12/08/2023:
Jeremiah L. Hall, Versailles: Speeding 77/55 MPH Zone.

Jacob L. Zulauf, Chapin: Expired Registration

12/09/2023:
Nicholas M. Kremer, Carthage: Operating Uninsured Vehicle.

mittens, and hats for anyone in need. Sheriff Justin Oliver encourages you to stop
by the Courthouse during business hours, Monday thru Friday between 8:30 AM-
4:30 PM.
