Sheriff’s Report
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office reports the following activity:
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS:
Unless stated, no injuries were reported and damage to the vehicle was over $1500.00.
12/16/2023:
Connie L. Taylor, Mt. Sterling: Was traveling westbound on US 24 @ Kochs Farm, left the roadway traveling 100 yards before coming to rest in the ditch. Taylor was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Keri A. Gaines, Virginia: Was traveling East Bound on US 24 @ Rest Area and swerved to avoid a deer leaving the roadway and striking an embankment and overturned, coming to rest in the westbound lane. Gaines was transported by EMS to a hospital for treatment.

Mickenzy J. Gossage, Rushville: Speeding 80/45 MPH Zoner.
12/17/2023:
Wesley E. Femmer, Versailles: Driving while license suspended.
